I’ll tell you one thing, I have a tuned deps(lots less extreme), and it’s noisy! It sounds great(malossi tb), like a racebike but you need a better silencer to keep it ‘civilized’.

Absolutely:D I spoke with one of Sweden’s best tuners and he said the exhaust port looked very good, so hopefully the thickness of the spine won’t be any problem:)

That,s also what I was thinking.
And it,s way thinner than it is by a speed or 2fast cilinder.

And it also have no mass for handeling with extreme heat.
This spine is gona be extreem hot by high rpm,s and probable gona scratch your piston

Most of the tuning I haven’t done myself;) I don’t think the spine is thinner than it is on a bit tuned 70cc cylinder for scooter.

the “stud” (between te exhaustports) or how it’s called, looks damaged or cracked, or is it dirt?
if its damaged, the pistonsprings aren’t gonna like it because it’s a small (damaged) surface that keeps your springs in place. what i mean is; friction on a small damaged surface ain’t good. nice tuning btw

I don’t know the diameter, but I think it’s about 5-6 cm

Okay, so this is what I’ll have to do:

1. Remove kickstart pen from original crank, which is 21mm deep.
2. Drill an approximately 10mm wide and 10mm deep hole in the Malossi crank big-end pin, which is 12mm deep.

Yeah but to do that I have to remove the malossi pin first, right? An to do that I have to cut off the pin since I cannot press it out. Or am I supposed to drill a hole in the malossi pin? How wide is the hole supposed to be? :con

So I’ll have to cut, not press, off the big-end pin on the malossi crankshaft?

I’m not sure but I think the pin on the malossi crankshaft is welded so there isn’t actually a hole, but you may be right aswell. I’ll have to look it up.

Thanks Ami. Now I see what I have to do :). Better hope my local workshop can fix this thing and hope you find yourself a Malossi kickstart reed valve for a reasonable price.

Ok.So i can’t press-out the pin from the malossi crankshaft? I’ll have to drill a hole right through? I measured the diameter of the kickstartpin(15mm) and compared it with the pin on the malossi crankshaft( also 15mm) and discovered that they had the same diameter. Do I still have to mill the kickstartpin’s end down to an even smaller diameter?

Okay, thanks for responding. I’ll try to contact my local workshop to see if they can fix it. I live in Sweden so I don’t think letting Heuvel85 do it would be an opportunity. 🙂
