Can You tell me if first picture crankshaft  – with holes  – have any thing to do with the power/speed limit (Duch model) ?
Or it not matter  – I mean the limiting the size of the gas room , or speed of the intake mix flow through the crankshift box …

Or I am ‘loco’  😉  ?

Vespa Ciao about 1982-1986.
What size of back belt weel ?
What type of rear hub – there are difffirent ratios of those I have from ciao bravo mixed up..
How to know the stereotype of the set ups?

The seal behinde the fly weel is new. What do yu think , how to examin the second weak point of Ciao Mix – the wiring of the coils ?

You mean the seal ring behinde fly weel or the oil pump ? Couse I didnt change only the seal on the oil pump side …

I just got back from the basement. The new motor works like dream !!!  Keeps low RPM and gets on the high RPM smooth. New piston, rings and that thing that goes to the piston, I forgot the name. Anyhow, the first motor goes on the table now to vivisection,

I tryed 48,49 and 53 jets – no good change. I even tryed smoler one 37 – worse.
I changed diffirent muffler – nothing.
On jet 49 motor is getting the right high RPM but I can’t get to adjust the idiling RPM. If I screw in the slow RPM screw, motor is running on high rpm, and the Back weel is rolling. But when I press the back break , the…[Lees meer]

Yes, it runs beter when holes in the filter are close. that is on the idiling moment. When I giwe more gas , motoer to be able to go on very high RPM , I need to take the filter out of the carb. I will change the jet  – 48 is OK?
If the hole in the carter is 10 it means the carb must be 12.10 and can not be 12.12. ?

Now it came to me – maby it is a simmering on the crankshaft ?
No sight of oil leaking from simmering in magneto aera under the engine ..
Maby something else I dont see..

maby simmilar story ..  I have two ciao mix – one run like devil and second one goes max 25 km/ h  plus is not keeping slow ‘parking’ rpm – engine is stopping after few second of  ideling. Carburator was cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner, ( I try carb from the first ciao mix – no change ) .

I assumed that the  air  ”inlets” we talking  of the body of motors or air  ”inlets” of the carburators ?

if air  ”inlets” of the body of the motor then do You know how many types of inlets the Vespa mopeds had ?
