Waarom? :
@Zeebodem,Bedank
@Cruisarn,
The inlet and carb that you see, actually belongs to my Simonini engine. I also think that a 17.5 mm carberateur is too small for the simonini cylinder. I do not understand what you mean by the boosters?Okey so the inlet fitted directly? I will use a 19mm phbg, and if possible i will port the inlet up to 19mm.
Where the arrow point you see that the carter blocks a part of the port in the cylinder-skirt. Maybe i should just leave it?
Looks great!
Do you have a different inlet on your ATG half, since you used 24mm carb? Mine is only 17,5mm.
Did you have to port the block for the boosters where the pointer shows?Using google chrome, translates automaticly but it isnt very accurate :/ but it seems it could work, seen people using the kit in org block without welding or pasting so 🙂
I mean the 3 taps 😉
Okey so it isnt too hard to fit in the simonini into original block? and no welding is needed? Doesn’t understand dutch to well, can only see the pictures 🙂
tnerual :
90= higher topspeed, less acceleration
100= bit lower topspeed, slightly better acceleration..I would go for the 100’s when i see your setup?
I will be using (probably)Deps 47/simonini 48, eurocilindro sideinlet, dellorto 19/PWk 19/21, some good exhaust like simonini calibrata, fabrizi etc.
Yeah the tension should be exchangable.
I have now found clutches second hand in good shape. Both 90mm and 100.
So i just have to ask, is it any profit with 90mm clutch instead of 100? like higher topspeed or something?
Or is 100 better on all ways?Okey then i guess it wouldn’t be that great for high rev tuning parts :/
Jarco :
Its the same as the one they made for Tonni, only this is more like a how to to do it yourself.
The google translations is shitty indeed, but seeing the pictures i cant imagine its realy difficult to do. ( with the right tools. )Oh ok. Well i think that i will leave it to some proffessionals at a workshop to do it 🙂 but thx anyways!
Jarco :
http://www.ciaocrossclub.it/root/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56665Found this one our italian colleague site.
Didn’t understand to much, google translate isn’t that accurate 🙁 But if i understood some right, then he made a adapater so you could use a normal 10 pin, like 2 parts instead of 1? too bad i can’t understand the instructions
Edjuh: Yeah i guess it could work 🙂
Olliegasselt: That fit ciao? I posted a stage6 bearing in the first post, but it doesnt fit 🙁
Tonni :
This works just like the old type crankshaft from Piaggio. It works just fine if the measurements of the bearing are right and the material is suited for the purpose.
The one on the picture is not the right one, it’s just for the illustration. I’ve had mine ‘custom made’.Hmm if it works as good then it sounds great! What materials are proper to use then?
Tonni :
I’ve also been looking around to find me a needle bearing of this size. I’ve even been to two specialists (whole suppliers) but they also couldn’t find anything of these measurements in the books.
The biggest I’ve been able to find was 10 X 14,5 X 15.I’m also still looking but in the meantime I had one of these made in 10 X 15 X 15. It is just as strong and capable of high revs, if made of the right material.
Then it’s 10 inside, 14,5 outside and 15 on the wide?
Would those work? thought since it doesnt have the needles.
Jarco: Well it’s good to know! thx 🙂
Daffy#46: It’s 14,9mm on the outside (eurocilindro crank), and it should be 10 on the inside. Dont know the lenght yet tho, will measure tommorow.
MHR: Great, i take it that it should be the same on eurocilindro? my dad measured it to be 14,9 but either he measured wrong or the layer is supposed to get pressed a bit i guess? Will go ahead and search for 15x15x10 then.
Thanks a lot!Hanseib: Will do 😉
Urtaget: Thanks, althought the quality isnt the best, but will start using real camera now at least. 🙂
Tack!Martino: Hey, yeah it’s a lot of pictures 🙂 great that you found it intressting, even thought i guess you dont understand the text on the project part.
No, not at all :/ dont know exact number but maybe 20 that’s worth watching. So the last goal might succeed too with some luck 🙂
Really curious on how this will turn out 🙂 the part looks great, lets just hope it looks as great when its all together 😉
