I was thinking of putting this motor in a C24 ciao, And get everything to work with it.. I will look at selling it and looking for a new motor 🙂

But then I won’t have any low/high power on koplamp och brakelight I guess? Because everything is same voltage on the moped?

Hmm, my stator don’t have any brown, only 1 yellow, which is powered by 3 coils in series, the coils are not individual as they are on other stator, which have blue+brown.

I realize that the other stators have different thickness of copper wires on different coils, look at above picture.. Thinner wire will give more laps around the holder…[Lees meer]

I understand the difference in voltage.
But the position of the coils on the stator, that doesn’t matter right? As long as right cable is connected to the right coil? Because my taped coil have different position than other pictures of 4-coil stator.

I have no clue to be honest, the crank-case have many piaggio logos on it.
Also the flywheel have piaggio logo and some “Patent, made in the USA” or something similar, I can check tonight.
Is there any other sign I should look at?

I have no bike for the motor at all 🙂 Just bought the motor.. I’m used to the 6 cable version, thought first this was a 2-coil ignition but got surprised when opened it and it was 4 coils inside..

I have looked for the schematics aswell, haven’t found any. will look closer tonight how all the oils are connected

okey, but I only have 4 cables total, Green, Red, White, all of them goes to CDI unit.
Then I have only 1 left, which is 1 cable shoe in plastic housing, + ground attached to the carter..
So 2 cables are missing, I need to “lod” them on to the 2 coils?

Impressive work! I had the same problem with this vliegwielkap, the brand is equal but they are not so equal in comparison with the original kap 🙂

Today was mockup testing day!
The fan fits nicely between carter and stator!
Unfortunatly the rotor went bad when machining it, milled it to hard in bottom when trying to make space for even more lowering.. So I’ll need a new rotor, and a lesson is learned and was quite educatble slicing up the rotor, quite interesting build!

What ratio is the hub? 1:13, 1:12,5, 1:10,5?

That is correct, however i want a not stolen frame With intact chassinumber!

I think I wasn’t clear enough, I have not a certain vespa in sight at the moment..

Nice, but how about the last two gear? 12/30 and 44, they seem to have Pinasco numbers? I can’t find any Correlating numbers of teeth on the Piaggio sets, according to the chart. ?

It’s quite easy..

Column #1 = brand
Column #2 = Where to find, (model/country or sold as kit)
Column #3 = Are teeth angle cut or straight cut
Column #4 = The ratio of the gearbox
Column #5, 6, 7, 8 = Number of teeth on the gear, starting from the shaft that the clutch attaches to.

Sorry for highjacking the thread, buti s all the internals different between 1:10,5, 1:12,5, 1:13 and so? Or is it for example only the main shaft for the clutch that differ between the ratios?
There are plenty of single gears on Ebay, but how to tell which will fit?
