What do you think about my front carrier?

mmmhhh, after ma experience the yellow ones are the weakest.

I think that the Polini Top One could fit the 70er Ciao because I drive a Proma Cirquit on my 70er Ciao and the fixing should be the same. But if you also have the 19″ wheels like I have you could get a space problem to your front wheel.

short update.

The kick system is working now. I have put in new wheels, handlebars, front and back carrier and polished the old painting.

The carriers allow a lot of capacity for the ZZT09 =)

Also the gear ratio is installed now. It is a 10,5 :1 gear with 83mm pulley and 55mm diameter clutch bell. Dat…[Lees meer]

But it looks that the chain is a little bit to long. Maybe I need to cutt off 2 or 3 chain links.

What would you say? Are 2 chain links short enough?

ui, what a mooi old Ciao:thumb

from the history I could say that the first Ciao were delivered from Italy beginning 1968. This Ciao all had 19″ wheelen. There were two models at that time with different forks. One model with spring fork like yours and one model with fork without springs and wheel brake like a real bicycle.

A spongefilter is better Piet. Better filtering en more capacity. 😉

I think your headlight will look better just in the middle of the 2 positions if that’s possible.
So under the steeringbar and just on top of the lower forkmounting.

aha, I think bevore I separat the engine I will try how it runs with the Polioni cylinder first. Would the top speed be in the same range like with a DR EVO in that carter and the same setup?

yes I think so, I have the feeling that the 46mm and 46,5mm cylinders are not high RPM wonder. My 43mm Pinasco is a rocket compared to my 46,5mm Malossi.

Also I have one engine with the 43mm DR EVO what runs like hell.:bier

Malossi clutch springs, brake and gas cables, fuel line and filter and the headlamp were delivered yesterday and fixed now.

I only don’t have the Deko cable, no idea where to get at the moment.

But why do you want to use a nice Speed Engine groote carter helft to make a Simo Zij inlaat ?
For that you can use every standard inlet carter as you need to close the inlet anyway. Possibly you can use one with demaged inlet window. Sometimes you you can get that for free=)
