geodguus, this is no special machine. This is the table of my milling machine. (I know this is flat 😉 )
I positioned two clamping blocks that the kruk and flywheel can turn easily without blocking. Thats all.

as the Simo kruk is neutral balanced and the flywheel not, both together always turn with the ignition window to the top.

to get the flywheel also neutral balanced together with the kruk I pressed two pieces lead of about 9,5 gr weight each into the slots above the ignition window.

I got a KTM Brembo rear brake and it looks that it fits into the Ciao frame when I build a special bracket for the caliper and adapter plate to fix the brake disc to the wheel.:D

so, after discussion with Mofafreak and Mike from PMT I made some fine tuning on the EVO block

First milled the peak behind the membran case away in both carter halfs

Also the membran case has some potential

aaah, assuming that a 2007 Simo has the same stud layout like the Sprocatti. Would a distance of 44mm from middle stud to middle stud be ok?

I got another two Oldtimers 😉

One is a rolling frame, complete without engine. Has a lot patina everywhere. When I sprayed a little brake cleaner on the back rim it looks very nice.
Also nice that this are 17″ high shoulder rims with about 7:1 gear box. =)
