I have ordered a standard 17mm drive belt, will see how this will work. But the great thing is that the Stage6 clutch work also pretty well. Even as it turns in wrong direction. 😀

yellowcitta, yes, they end at 13mm and then start again at 17mm. Nothing between 13mm and 17mm. 😕

longer fox axle received and fixed.

now the drive belt runs inline from clutch to variator

as now the 13mm width drive belt is sitting too deep between the complete closed discs. Tomorrow will order a 15mm width drive belt.

after that, all is ready now for the next drive trial. Hope that the clutch will open…[Lees meer]

it has nothing to do with the belt width but maybe is interesting. I bought a Malossi variator for Minarelli engine. Outer diameter of the vario is 97mm.

I used a back disc from Motoforce and milled the cooling ribs away.

Then milled the anti turn safety profile from a Ciao Malossi Multivar bush into the Motoforce…[Lees meer]

I’m asking for my JuiorPiet, his setup is a Polini EVO, 46mm Pinasco black, 19mm carb and Calibrata.
Would it be an advantage to use the red spring, or would a yellow spring be more comfortable in daily use?

I bought my Fox/Vespa axle here on the forum. Hope this axle will work for a while.
Just upfront I’m planning to fix a new needle bearing and one or two additional 4mm ball bearings for more reinforcement into the gear box lid.

I thought so in general, all Scooter clutches are turning worng direction. But funniewise the Fox clutch is working in both directions.

What springs were you using on the Stage6 clutch? Maybe they were too hard? I will try the softes once then.

during waiting for the main jets to adjust the carb I received the Stage6 clutch.
That is an fantastic thing, total easy to change and adjust the springs without disassembling the clutch.
Also there are additional small weights to finetune the weight of the clutch lining arms. :thumb

ah, ok. So it still need some force to press even if you cool down the bearings and warm up the housing.
I thought that the temperature difference could be helpful for the assembly.

I did it with a small 6 ton press and used some screw nuts what fit to the bearing diameters.
