Thanks!
I hope to overhaul the engine in a short time… I'll take some pictures during this operation.
I'm saying that the engine case in this picture
was only for testing the correct function.
Subsequently I have further change the shapes of the mainfold.Thank you all!
Engine case is Piaggio. I welded on it a Polini intake mainfold with reed valve for VESPA.
I welded other aluminuim addition also for change the engine case internal space and for seal the d.13 intake. The cilinder is an aluminium Polini 60cc with 3 exhaust ports, 6 transfer ports and detachable aluminium exhaust mainfold d.28mm (lathe made). I changed the dimensions of all the transfer and the exhaust ports.
All the changes are made by myself with files and mill cutter, only the welding was made by my friend.
Sorry but I have only the prototype engine (bad) picture…
Thank you all again!
The ultimate engine's test:

In another test, with the right carburation, it has runs at 16200 rpm with the wheel free.
A special thanks to vespa-ciao.nl and Wilk1985 for giving me the opportunity to share my memories!
these are the changes I've made on Piaggio's engine

This is the prototype engine. Sorry for bad quality pictures…

Ok, I see.
Thank you very much.
I will prepare some pictures and then I will make a perso.Thank you for compliments.
What does ‘perso’ means?Piet30 :
Hi Edjuh, yes the frame need to get some modifications, not only for the engine, also to make it stronger at the rear end I think.
For that I try to weld some stiffness sheets in.
I bought the frame like it is in the moment, otherwise I would have made the modifications before painting. But I think it is not a big problem to paint the modified areas later in the same color again. 😉You are right, this engine can not be found at the Sprocatti website. It is very rare till now I think. The only similar Ciao with the carb on top is here:

pic quality is bad, so don’t know if it is the same like mine.
Hi misterd11, thanks for Rick’s link. So I now have an rough idea how the front left modification can look like.
So far no idea about airfilter, think that will come at the end. 😀
The Ciao in this picture is mine… 😉
Hello everyone!
Your Ciao are awesome!
This is my Ciao with modified Piaggio engine. I created it 20 years ago and I called it VCDI 002.
May be that VCDI 002 – in the web from year 2000 [url=http://www.nova3.com/_pers/pagani_pg/pagani_pg.htm] – is the Sprocatti EVO grandpa 8)
I am very happy to see so many Ciao lovers!
Good job guys!
