It’s doesn’t accelerate very fast from zero km/u… what is your complete variomatic setup?I don’t want to start very fast from zero km/h because in a race track you start one time…I prefere set the clutch to have a right traction in turn in a track race. My Bravo is not make to a drag race.
My clutch give traction on 6400 rpm.
If I have a drag race I’ll set set grip on 9000 rpm.Hi, new test with new ignition…
Now it seems to fit the ignition…
The belt has a good grip…
Now I have to go test it in a longer route…
I do not care to have an engine that go fast in the start because the track never happens to accelerate from standstill, and then look at handling corners.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t03va3-kOzQ

Very nice Pegano! Did you welt the case to the subframe or how is it fixed? How do you unmount or multivar?Why didn’t you use a 24mm carburator?
What’s next? Maybe you can fabricate a custom inlet (28/30mm) with 28mm Keihin or 30mm TMX kart carburator. With Stage 6 V-force AM6 reedvalve=) But I think it will be overkill for the belt:lol
Did you modify the malossi variator for the 13mm belt?
I don’t use the 24mm or more because I use this moped on the circuit and a big carburator decrease the power on the low rpm.
I have not modify the variator.
Well…the engine for me is incredible…13800rpm…
But the belt…8 belts go away…not broke or grind…only pushed out from the pulley!!
I think that either the belt warms up and stretches, or a spring is unnerved and no longer worked well …
But sure the Malossi gears are too long for my engine.First time in circuit…

Waw great moped, looks fast, with great parts!The case around the malossi variomatic, does it has a bearing in it or what is it?
Very nice! Can’t say no more
The case have a bearing…

Does the 12V screwdriver provides enough torque? That’s better:DLook at my perso for photos of the repaired Heuvel Racing Clutch!
I use the 12v or 18v screwdriver of Wurth.
About your clutch…What are the screed??RiPe :
Thanks for the list.
So I understand you’re using the original 13.4mm malossi belt for Vespa Bravo? And that works well with the clutch?
Maybe if you look for car belts, they have more different sizes.But if the width of the belt is too small, it can’t reach the outer diameter of the clutch-pulleys. So the variation is reduced.
On the other side, when de belt is too wide, it can’t reach the inner diameter of the variator.
I’d say that’s a problem when you use a variator for a 13mm belt and a clutch for a 16,5mm belt.I hope you’ll understand my English too 😛
Well…yes, I’m using che Malossi belt for Bravo and the transmission work perfectly.
The car belts are no good…the good belt are use for other application.No no, the Malossi belt for moped has reached the maximum outer diameter of the pulleys that the lower limit. Work perfectly!!
For the variator…all the variator have the same inclination (multivar, multivar mhr, multivar over-rage for minarelli) and they have the same inclination of the multivar for moped.
The difference is the excursion on the cranckshaft.
I hope you understand this table for variators malossi.
Spessore = Depth
Diametro = Diameter -
