It’s doesn’t accelerate very fast from zero km/u… what is your complete variomatic setup?

I don’t want to start very fast from zero km/h because in a race track you start one time…I prefere set the clutch to have a right traction in turn in a track race. My Bravo is not make to a drag race.

Hi, new test with new ignition…
Now it seems to fit the ignition…
The belt has a good grip…
Now I have to go test it in a longer route…
I do not care to have an engine that go fast in the start because the track never happens to accelerate from standstill, and then look at handling…[Lees meer]

Well…the engine for me is incredible…13800rpm…
But the belt…8 belts go away…not broke or grind…only pushed out from the pulley!!
I think that either the belt warms up and stretches, or a spring is unnerved and no longer worked well …
But sure the Malossi gears are too long for my engine.

So I understand you’re using the original 13.4mm malossi belt for Vespa Bravo? And that works well with the clutch?
Maybe if you look for car belts, they have more different sizes.

But if the width of the belt is too small, it can’t reach the outer diameter of the clutch-pulleys. So the variation is reduced.

Really lovely to see this. The sprocatti scooter cilinder does have some amazing transfer chanels, they are enormous (Too bad it doesn’t fit the engine case not very well)

Are you going racing with this bike or sprinting ? I Think that If you do your homework right (and you certainly do:D) the bike can be a winner in a straight line…

How do you wanna start your moped? Because there are no start segments in the minarelli clutch…

I suppose with a 230V drill on your crank;)

No 230V drill, but a 12V screwdriver with a little modification on the pivot.

I’m now measuring for use a Malossi variator for Minarelli.

Start gear with variator Malossi Multivar per moped
