My opinion? Sprocatti is al little bit “vage” about her engine, we never saw one working and honestly, I dont think it will work as smooth as it should, a ciao doesn’t have a waterpump, so you mist carry a huge battery to just keep it going…

I believe that malossi stopped making the deps cilinders yes, but im not 100% sure. Maybe that swiss site didn’t update that certain section.

The 46,5 fits perfectly on the reedvalve engine, but you won’t have the same results as with the deps. The reedvalve engine and the 47mm deps are truly made for eachother.

And i have another question about the 47mm deps cilinder head.
How do i do to setup the decompressin valve in the cilinder head. Its a little bit smaller and not like the original one.
If someone knows what i mean. i need a picture of the cilinder head with the decompression valve “installed”.

‘Making a copy’ in my case only means making the cilinder fit(because i have used a piaggio carter instead of a speedengine), and the central port match with the one on the cilinder.

I bought My 47mm deps cilinder from a guy here in sweden for 90 euro including shipping. It was brand new he sold his ciao before he got the cilinder so i bought it.
