    First axle: The force fit of the 10mm pin between fox and vespa part gave away, so no torque could be transferred any more (axle still in one piece)

    Second axle: Weld between both axles gave way, screwtread between both parts broke. Axle broke in 2 parts. Clutchbell passed me at aprox 80kph :lol

    Will 1:7:5 work ?

    The minarelli axle is not a drop-in replacement. You need to combine the front halve of the minarelli axle with the vespa axle.

    There are multiple way’s to do so. Multiple people at this forum did it in different way’s

    Thank you for those answers Arvid but I still have a few questions.

    Do I need vario axis to modify to minarelli ?

    Is there a roller cage in the hub for the axis that I need to replace to a bigger one that fits the minarelli axis ?

    Even so it all depends on what you are looking for? I thought the Malmby meeting was only a drag strip, but i see now they also going for top speed.

    I am mainly going for acceleration but it would be boring if the gearing stopped at 100km/h

    If you want to use a Minarelli clutch. You had to make your own gearing anyhow. So you also could make the choice of using a 1:6,5 ratio from what we call “bromvertanding”. But in my opinion this is somewhat to long, even for the faster engines like a Simo 2007.

    I will use an engine that is a little better than the simo 07

    Depends how fast you want to go.

    Stock simonini 2007 engine + “25kph” gearing (1:10.73) + peugeot fox clutch + citta wheels = just over 100kph. A ciao may reach 110-115kph and that is with relatively low revs compared to a fast scooter cylinder.

    Can you recommend any faster gearing ? Except for malossi.

    Minarelli uses 39,2mm stroke , 2fast4race/Malossi bigbore 86cc has 44 stroke which there is a simonini crankshaft for , also the Team cristofolini cylinder uses 46mm stroke.

    Ik heb een krukas met 44slag maar miste 3 á 4mm bovenin. Dit komt omdat de drijfstang iets te kort is.
    Nu moet ik dus een puch drijfstang erin…

    Buy a polini/reich waterpump , the reich is 12v , polini is run by a drive”belt” between the crankshaft beside the flywheel/rotor.

    I’ve been talking to Sprocatti for about 2 months , now it’s settled ! I will buy their Crankshaft and their Disco rotante 4p carter.

    I will probably receive my js90 exhaust tomorrow, The citta chassie is being sent tomorrow I think.

    My sprocattiparts will be sent in the beginning of january.

    That’s about it for now.
