benex heeft het onderwerp Rear clutch torque spring worn out? aangemaakt in het forum Vario 2 jaar, 7 maanden geleden
Hello, i am wondering how to recognize when a rear clutch torque spring is worn out. Today i compared a new spring with one that was mounted some time ago (like a year or so). The one on the right is new and the one on the left i used. The lenght difference is about 0,5 cm. Is the left spring alright or do i have to replace it? At what point…[Lees meer]

Hello, i am wondering about ease of starting the motor in Ciao/Bravo/Si. Some of my mopeds start pretty easily being on a stand – just half a turn of the pedal. But with other mopeds i have to drive/pedal a few meters to start the engine. I checked for oil leaks from rear coupling and starting shoes are clear of it. I know that there may be a few…[Lees meer]

By writing “they close quickly” you mean that the filter clogged and gives no fuel? That is weird, because i use this filter in Piaggio Bravo for about 2-3 years now and there were never any problems with lean mixture or engine damage. Of course i change this filter once in a while. Maybe the filter you write about is different?

Hello, unfortunately there is some rust in my Piaggio Si fuel tank and it clogs carb sometimes. Did anyone have the same problem, maybe in Ciao? How to get rid of the rust from the fuel tank that is a part of frame? Is there some good/recommended liquid that i can pour inside to get rid of the rust? It is a lot easier in Bravo where you can detach…[Lees meer]

Hello, i have decided to put a fuel filter in my Piaggio Si (rust in the fuel tank). Unfortunately there is very little space fot it to put anywhere. I did put it like on the picture below (fuel hose goes around air filter and connects carb banjo from the other side), but the fuel doesn’t flow sometimes and the moped chokes. When the fuel hose is…[Lees meer]

Hello, lately i came across a problem with a belt that wears out too quickly. Firstly it wears from the side like it was too wide and then it wears all lenght and breaks. The setup is standard 50cc, vario polini hi speed, standard rear coupling, sito + exhaust.
Polini hi speed used in the setup. It uses some parts from original vario.

So one…[Lees meer]

It seems that the yellow wire that powers up all electronics is connected to all 3 coils. It is more clearly on this picture. Red circles show the connections between yellow wire and all 3 coils.

A bridge rectifier converts AC into DC. You’re already using DC because of your 12V 40W Sipea regulator. So while you can feed DC into a bridge rectifier and polarity isn’t reversed, what does happen is that voltage is reduced because it is ran through two diodes. In easier speaking terms, the voltage of your Sipea regulator is… - Meer laden
