Which Variator?

I want to upgrade my variator, currently i got the polini UTHA but i dont think it’s better then the stock unit.
it’s easier for me to get the Malossi multivar (plus it costs les and also come with a spring)
but i read that the polini one is better.
i woould like to get opinions from guys who use the malossi – or used both of them.
my setup is: DR43,13.13,Sym exhust.

Eran,

the malossi and polini are almost the same. With the malossi you buy a spring to, polini doesn’t have it in the package.
more important is this. the polini has made the variator of better quality than malossi.
let’s say: malossi is working for a couple of thousand kilometers and polini for ever8)

I’ve always been perfectly happy with my malossi variators. But, you do hear people preferring the polini.

If getting the malossi is easier i’d go for that one.

Does both of them come complete with the 2 pulley halvs?
what kind of improvment i will get from them?

You’ll notice a better gasresponse and increased topspeed. Also, you can properly tune it with common rolls.

You won’t get a half variator.

yes they are complete in both sets,
you will earn more top speed and easyier to adjust.
