Which brand of cylinderkit best fits on stock carter – CIAO

– two questions:con

I’ve heard that malossi 43 kit with triangular shaped ports fits better on stock carter (without matching case) then DR 43 EVO or Polini 43 because they have D shaped ports. What do you think or do you have any experience with this??

Does standard decompresion set fits in a malossi HD cylinder head without problems or do a I need decomp set special from malossi.

a lot of people drive the DR Evo, i am fairly sure most people prefer the DR over the Malossi.
maybe the port dont match that well, but the DR is really fast out of the box, and a lot cheaper.

The decompression does fit, the special decompression sets are for DEPS cilinder heads only

I have very good offer for the malossi kit 43 with head so I wonder is it an equal quality like DR evo 43 cylinder.

What do you think about OLYMPIA kit 43 – also includes head and is cheaper than malossi and DR evo? is that also a good choice?

The malossi is rubish quality i won’t recommend it.

The DR is a good cylinder and also the Olympia (old type DR) is a good fit with good quality.

So you reccomend me an OLYMPIA rather thn malossi?? Why do you thinh that malossi is rubish, just answer?

Hello Ruby,

I recommend a DR or a olympia.

The malossi is just bad quality many wear of in about 3000km’s or less the DR/Olympia will run beyond that without too much problems.
