Hi Guys i am very glad to report that putting in some 6.6g rollers tonight things started to work. After warming up i gave it some WOT and i could see that the vario started to work and in turn opened the rear clutch disks up too, which i am very pleased about.Now i have to look at the carb again as with a max jet of 90 i am still far too rich as it smokes a lot and doesn’t rev freely when you ride it, lovely on the stand but on the road splutters like anything. May have to come right down to a 75 / 80 max jet on the 21mm phbg, don’t want to go too low for fear of being too lean then.
I would like to thank you very much for all your advise and you have been a great help.
Lets hope i can get it to run leaner now. Any advise on how low you can go with a max jet on a 21mm phbg ?

I know many simonini 07 engines are jetted 78 with a 21mm, so dont worry too much and work your way downward carefully.
