Hi, can anyone tell me what I need to do to get more top speed/acceleration from a standard (90mm) vario set up?
I’m running a Malossi 43, Proma circuit & 13-13 carb on my Bravo, but it’s slow to pick up & get in the power band and then rev’s very high when only doing about 35mph.
Any advice on roller weights, spring ect would be great,
      Martin.

Sounds like the weight of your rollers is too low!

Edit ; with your setup i should try something about 6/6.5 gr.

The best thing you can do right now is buy yourself a Malossi variomatic and some 6.0 grams rolls.

Trying to finetune an original variomatic is hopeless, save yourself the frustrations.

O.k. thank’s for that, this engine went well in my Ciao, but that’s just got black Malossi springs in the clutch and an 80 poelie at the back, I know nothing about setting up a vario,
