Vario belt Malossi on 90 mm vario – CIAO

Hello,

Is there any problems to put malossi variator belt (978mm lenght) which is constructed for 100 mm vario pulley on 90 mm vario pulley.

you’ll not be able to tension the belt properly without modifying your frame so your engine can be moved more to the front.

It will be a bit to long maybe if you put the engine as far as possible to the front.
Mine’s running with a 950mm belt on 100mm disks but the belt is to short.

I’m asking this because I’ve heard that malossi is very strong – long life belt versa other producers . I don’t know which producer for vario belt (950 mm lenght)for 90 mm vario is the best solution to buy.Maybe some advice which vario belt for 90mm vario, I know the lenght is 950 mm.

I use continental belts my malossi broke after 500km’s :/
My continental is running on a fox clutch and is available in many different sizes.

It should be possilble if you could use a tensioner
