I’ll tell you one thing, I have a tuned deps(lots less extreme), and it’s noisy! It sounds great(malossi tb), like a racebike but you need a better silencer to keep it ‘civilized’.

11 juli 2010 om 16:12 #145819is this a good cylinder? there is someone in the states selling one with a polinni circuit exhaust for pretty cheap. the exhaust also has a 27mm flange on it. the cylinder was never ran, and comes with piston, and everything. what case is best for this cylinder?
11 juli 2010 om 16:24 #145820you really should buy it.
d.e.p.s are real nice whit ports and quite fast thats the build for them.
average d.e.p.s get a higher speed seeing other sets.you will be making the right choice to get one.
11 juli 2010 om 16:31 #145821the best casses are malossi reedvalve;)
11 juli 2010 om 22:53 #145547To create a little buffer against overheating and risking your piston to get stuck, you could lay the spine back a bit. Just hollow it a fraction which will give it that little bit extra room for expansion.
It’s done before by tuners with the thin/extreme tuned spines.I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...3 augustus 2010 om 01:51 #145838can you run this cylinder with a polini speed case? if so what needs to be done to the case?
3 augustus 2010 om 06:51 #145839It is possible, but the inlet of the Polini speedengine is not bigger than 13 mm.
But when you gonna use an speedengine, you have to make the big boosterport like this:
4 augustus 2010 om 02:08 #145842so will i also need to block off the other transfers like you did in the picture? will this still perform well with the 13mm intake?
4 augustus 2010 om 06:00 #145843no that is not necessarily. It will perform with an 13mm intake, but on a 47 DEPS I would use an 19mm carburator.
5 oktober 2010 om 22:20 #145870what head are you guys running on these 47mm deps kits? thanks.
5 oktober 2010 om 22:55 #145871The kit version of this 47mm Malossi Deps came with an high pressurised 47mm head. But since the exclusivity of this head alot are using other heads like the normal Malossi 46,5mm. Keep in mind you can always mill the bore of a smaller head a little bit bigger until it matches 47mm.

11 oktober 2010 om 21:10 #145879hey hansieb. will that citta head fit in a ciao fram, or will i have to grind down the side fins? thanks.
11 oktober 2010 om 21:13 #145880you only need to grind them at the left side;) and just a little on top.
