Tire size Deestone

Hi, I found this Deestone tire on JMPB

I don’t konow what the size 70-60-16 says in relation to the known 2 1/4 16″. Is that approx. the same?

Also to what can I compare the 80-90-16 version?

70 is the wide in mm.= 2-3/4”
90 is Ratio of the tire height / width in%
16 is 16”

if your wondering if they fit you can take a look at my ciao:

as you can see i have the bigger tire on my rear wheel and the smaller one on the front wheel.
i really like the way it improves the looks of my ciao, there had to be some changes made to the frame to fit the big tire though. but that doesn’t take long, those bars where your sadle is mounted should be grinded for a bit, at the top.

if you click on this picture and zoom in at that position you can see where you’ll need to do just that.

I got the smaller one for my rear wheel. It was packed very well, never have seen that kind of packaging on other tires. =)
