I just wanted to say thanks for all the great info gathered on this site, and so well organized too! I am building a vespa/malossi powered kinetic, going to see how much I can squeeze out of the stock case before I go to one of the aftermarket ones.

In the meanwhile, does anyone over there have a points ignition version of the malossi case that you are not using and willing to sell? I need the points version to mount the CDI from my kinetic, and it seems it has been discontinued..

You could try to contact sprocatti(links) although their english is worse dan my turkish, they sell the converter plates for elec.>breaker point ignition.

Thanks for the tips guys. I would prefer to wait to find a points version of the malossi case because I already have an electronic ignition that will install cleanly in that, and if I were to get the points version I would have to buy another electronic ignition, and those are rare and expensive over on this side of the water, that adapter plate sounds like it would work, i hope it’s not too big bulky and heavy. I’m hoping someone over there has a malossi points case laying around because they switched to the electronic hehe :).

I often sell complete electronic ignitions for 40 euro. Thats not so expensive, though the sending costs will be high i think.
