Oh, now I understand you mean the inlet and exhaust port, right?
Should I do something with the exhaust port?13 april 2024 om 00:10 #824484It would be nice if someone could make a little check list with things you should do when it comes to stock engine tuning and the effects of each modification.
13 april 2024 om 08:33 #824486Nobody does that I think.
A stock tuning 43 cilinder is oké and runs 60 km/u
all day long.Gr. Wim.

14 april 2024 om 18:56 #824500I have one last question. What do you thing would be the power and speed increase if I put a dr evo 65cc on my moped like it is now? And how much increase would I get with the dr, if I make the inlet to 13mm, the inlet window bigger, boostports and the main ports bigger?

Is there a way how I could get a bit more top speed with the dr cylinder without taking the engine completely apart. Like maybe lifting it by 1mm? I want to do the complete engine porting in the next winter so it would be nice if I could get a bit more top speed till then.14 april 2024 om 19:27 #824503or is there something i can do to the cylinder before I install it?
14 april 2024 om 20:37 #824504It would be nice if I could get as close to 70 as possible
14 april 2024 om 23:51 #824505The cilinder is good enough.
You dont have to do anything to it.
The speed you prevere, you can do
that with the finetunig of carb, exhaust,
poelie, inletport etc etc.Gr. Wim.

I have a question…
My plan is it to buy a second engine to make a 65cc setup. Could someone tell me what speed I could reach with the following setup (the base is a moped engine):
Malossi air filter
13mm inlet
Bigger inlet window
65cc dr evo
13/13 dellorto
70mm pulley
Supercity replica exhaust 25mm
Modifying the crankcase so that the ports and boostports fit perfect. What do you think would be the top speed if I port everything correctly. My goal is to reach 75kph.
17 april 2024 om 20:36 #824529And what would it bring, to raise the dr 43mm by mm?
23 april 2024 om 16:21 #824595Hez,
I have a important question so I would be grateful if I could get a quick response, I have got a new engine for my dr setup and as I was taking it apart I discovered that the crankcase is pretty beaten up, can someone tell me if it is still able to run properly.
