Hello,
I have bought a special gasket paper (green color) for making homemade base gasket between cylinder and carter. It is 0,8 mm thick. Do you think this is OK or too (thick) big:con.I want to made a gasket for proper sealing for my DR EVO43. The ports in the original crankases are already customized regarding DR EVO cylinder.

it should be fine but, it will lower the compression a bit.
also the port timing changes a little, if you tighten it good it will thin out a bit so dont worry 😀De budget beun tjoener: geen geld is te duur of het werkt nog niet
