I wonder about the problem of slipping belts, is it the same slipping problem on the variator and the clutch?

On the clutch you can put on heavier springs to help the slipping but what can be done on the variator?
The weights will just change the point of moving but will it also cure the slipping or is the belt always slipping on the clutch?

I have a lot to learn so please help me understand this.

i’d say heavier weights will reduce the climbing speed on the angle wich ure belt regarding the variator has.
So this should conclude that the slipping could be solved maybe nog solved but at least give it more chance to get some grip on the metal since the speed is lowered from going in/out up/down.

        in other words:

when you have light weight rolls in there the engine will start to make at lot of rpm right away.
when you have heavier rolls in there the engine will start to make less rpm at start

also, there is one big spring in your variator clutch. if you replace this for a yellow malossi spring, the belt will be pressed harder between the discs.

so that way your belt won’t slip much.
