      Hi,
I like to build an engine as follows:

Original inlet carter side (closed inlet) combined with Simonin side inlet carter side. Simonini crankshaft and Simonini 90 ccm cyli.-kit. Does that fit together?
What’s about the longer stroke of the Simonini crancshaft? Can I match the carters to fit it?

      Thanks, Ralf

You have to enlare the crankcase so that it can contain the 74mm wide shaft(the round parts). The crank and cylinder sold @jmpb are both 43mm stroke if i’m correct.

And of course you need to ‘mill’ the carter where the cylinder enters, but you knew that.

        greets.

So, i have just measured the diameter in the crankcase (inlet side half case). About the first half of the case already has a diameter of 74 mm. Then from inlet window to the bottom the diameter is smaller.
Do you mean that the diameter from inlet window to bottom also need to have the 74 mm?

          Thanks,
          Ralf
