is it someone here that knows how to put a big carb on the simonini 4p engine. Im building myself an own intake plate so i atleast can take an 24mm carb. is there any other choices? The original intake is like 21mm inner diameter and the one im building is 24. The problem is that this plate/intake on the 4p engine is so small compared to the old 3p engine. If you have any ideas let me know because soon i will be ordering the 50mm watercooled kit and i would like to have a bigger carb.
Now i have built myself 2 bigger intakes. the small one is for a Polini competitin 24mm carburator and the big one is for 26 28 30mm carbs.
Is it someone here that knows the diffrence between the old 3p reed and the original 4p reed? Was the 3p reed bigger or something.
Hi Millen, for me the 3p is the orininal reedvalve and the differens is the bore times the stroke.
The 4p are bigger than the 3p and for what I know is a 28mm flatslide Carb, the best choice for a 4p RV.Nice adaptors you have there
