Dear all,
I am trying to look for a Simonini 48mm 3p piston(12 pen)/cylinder/head, to repair my Simonini 48mm motor (first edition 3p).
Story: during a full cleanup i’ve sadly broken the unique segment. It was not easy to find a new one, but i got it. But not with the right surface traitment, and in finality: damaged definitively the piston/cylinder 🙁
So i’m hoping to get it running again.
BestI don’t know the damage to piston and cylinder, but did you think about resealing the cylinder? These type of kits are worth to make the costs and better yet go for a better finish with nicasil instead of mostly chrome. Over here in Holland we have for instance; http://www.powerseal.nl/
