Hi,
I like to rework my complete Ciao frame (all painted parts) by powder coating. So far I got an offer from a German Powder Coating Company of about 350 to 400 Euro for doing this job.
My feeling is that this price is far to high.:((I know that some of you guys also have powder coated your frames. Could you please tell me what the cost were to do that?
Was it incl. all pre work like sandblasting the old painting?
What are the companys names in NL and where are they located? (I hope not far away from Germany);)Thanks for as much information as possible as I like to finish my Ciao for the Zuider Zee Tour.

We have novatec in leek.
It costed me 120 euro for the hole ciao ! which is no money. They coated + sandblasted it.
Check were leek is: http://www.map24.nl -> leek , its 30 km from groningen.
do they have a web side?
Can they speak english?

is their work after two weeks good quality or do they need to be kicked?:D
How do they make an offer, should I send pics or do I need to drive to them with everything in my trunk?

There quality is quite oke , it can be better but its oke.
You have to do somet things before you coat , hope flick can tell you that iam to busy 😛 with my work

I will disassemble my Ciao beginning of April and plan now to drive to Novatec about middle of April. Would you be available at that time to support me a little bit with Dutch translations over there?;)
I also like to powder my spoke wheels. Is that also possible and included in the price of 140-150 EURO ?
I’m looking for a dark green color (something like british racing green or so) for my frame. Do you think that they could powder that color ? Do they have a color card from what I could decide what color I want?

You pay for the wheels, frame, fork. behind piece en maybe some little stuff.
in my time it was 120 euros, but the gained in price and heard that it is around 140.
I can come with you but you have to pick me up 20km’s further (in groningen) i can come with you..

Damn you got hight prices, here in sweden i got a price of 70-80 euros for powdercoating the whole frame!

we pay like 60-80 for a frame, but like 120-140 for the “whole” ciao.

.-{2F4OV}-.In my village you pay 100 for frame and 60 euro for two both rims. Little things ofter go for free then..
If I would be you, I should power cout it in Venray, that`s not so far away from Lindlar…
