Hallo.
Are there anyone that knows if the polini evo engine and malossi 75cc kit will work together.:con
5 februari 2007 om 23:30 #145309Ofcourse it will work , if your talking about the 47mm D.E.P.S kit from malossi its ofcourse better to put it on an MALOSSI ENGINE.
The 47 deps is mainly fed by the pinston but also get some benzine true the upper hole.
Here you see the malossi engine has the UPPER hole for fedding the BIG deps 47mm , the EVO doesn’t have that upper HOLE to provide benzine to the cilinder so it wil only will be fed by the PINSTON.
5 februari 2007 om 23:30 #145310Sure it will work together 😉
But if I was you I would Buy the mhr reed valve carters with the malossi crankshaft and 19mm, so you have everything MHR. I also believe the reed valve engine is faster as an evo engine!
5 februari 2007 om 23:33 #145311It is because i can get it cheep, and it is for the malossi 46,5mm but it dosent matter i hope:) There is a 19mm dellorto carb to the engine also. I can get it for 85 euro thats an allrigth price i think.
5 februari 2007 om 23:39 #145312Ah no 47mm DEPS 🙂 than its not that much of an problem.
For 85 euro’s i would buy it FOR SURE ! =)
But i see you got an 42 alu , put that on the EVO engine its a very good COMBO !
5 februari 2007 om 23:43 #145313I know that but allready bought it, the malossi thing.
5 februari 2007 om 23:48 #145314? what u mean
5 februari 2007 om 23:54 #145315:DThe malossi kit i bought i yesterday, and the engine can i first buy tomorrow hehe hope u get it
5 februari 2007 om 23:55 #145316Ah oke 🙂 you bought the 46.5mm cilinderkit of malossi you mean !
5 februari 2007 om 23:57 #145317yes yes thats it. And now i would like to make a new engine (Polini) whit the malossi kit on:D
6 februari 2007 om 07:22 #145318The 46.5mm Malossi cilinder, is that a DEPS cilinder? Ik think you have bought the malossi cilinder with the normal (not unscrewable) exhaust porth. If you have bought that cilinder you may need tot make some ajustments to the evolution engine. Just take a look where the porths are positioned and try to make the porth in the Evo engine in such a way that the 2 porths are lining up and that the air-flow is smooth.
Good luck, 46.5mm Malossi is a good cilinder 😀
