I think you have to adjust the carberator.9 september 2012 om 10:34 #148193citta1234 :

I think you have to adjust the carberator.I remember that i got i running for about 10 sec last summer, but after that nothing.
Well i dont think the carb is the problem, it’s dead not a single sign of life. I have tried with ”startgas” to.
The carb is fixed with a restoration kit from jmpb.
From Sweden9 september 2012 om 10:40 #147860So it sparks, it gets fuel but it doesn`t run.
The carb may be good, but are the sprayers good?
The choke sprayer, stationair sprayer and your main sprayer?
What for size main sprayer do you have?9 september 2012 om 10:44 #147861citta1234 :

What for size main sprayer do you have? The main jet it something about 85 i think, if that’s what you mean with sprayer?
The rest is original, the only thing that ive changed is the main jet. Everything seams to be good, it should start with
this, even if the carb is broken or something?

From Sweden9 september 2012 om 10:55 #148216In Dutch you call it `sproeier` but i don`t know how you call it in English.
You can try to dissasemble your carb and your sparker and run sow al the fuel in your motor will blow out.
Then you mount everything and then you try to start it.It helped by me with my engines so maybe by you to;)

I’ve done that, with a drilling machine 🙂
It’s like i dont know what to do, really weird problem..
From Sweden9 september 2012 om 11:16 #148209Some evo engines have airleaks at the reedvalve. This can be solved by using additional bolts to fix the cover.
Also, in my experience these reedvalve engines need choke to start. But your jetting might be rich already cause I believe most have a 80 jet in their evo.
Thats all I can think of, good luck.
