Hope this engine will run like expected. Painting of the frame will be finished end of April and then I can try the first test run.

short update on the paint work.
About 10 days ago I coated the frame with “roestige kleur”
after the first day the paint started rust
and now after some days holiday it is more rusty

after nothing was finished for the Texel Tour I drove the tour with my old Tour Oma. 😉
But still want to have this engine running this week.
So everything fixed with small adjustments
Then I filled benzin into the tank and saw that :boos
Tank is leaking. All frame work for nothing. :kots
By the way, there was a 70er sproeier in the carb. Isn’t that too small? I fixed a 84er now, would this work or what are your recommandations?

wha tyou can try is tank coating,its a 2 component epoxy that you poor int the tank,and fills any holes etc,also it prevents to get rust in your benzineThat to pitty ralf:(
And I have a 70 sproeier with a 43mm eurocilindro and polini filter.
I quess you have a 48mm simo, so 84 or a little bit bigger must be right with a polini filter.That sucks man:(
I also have a question for youwhich cylinder did you drove with the VCT?

BDW, I have no experience with that 2 component epoxy. Do you have a link or some info from that?
Florian, my old tour Oma runs with a standard Kick block and 43mm Pinasco cylinder (cast iron, not Alu)

leovinc,its special paint,the paint has components in it that rust,the metal stays untouched!piet:i cant send a link right now,im internetting on my phone,but google on tank coating. Also you could send dartfreak a pm,he has used it to make his welded tank leakfree
