Nice to see your big smile, fine tuning comming up :bierTICKLING BARN9 maart 2014 om 12:50 #282987Sounds good Ralf

But I think you can have some lighter rolls in your vario, than it will pickup a bitt sooner.9 maart 2014 om 14:09 #2829882.5 – 3 gram sounds like a good plan!
9 maart 2014 om 17:50 #282990Awesome!! =)
12 maart 2014 om 22:30 #282998Wauw Piet, very very nice! My old frame has the best second life it could wish for haha, never runned that fast. I really like it. Beautiful moped:D Keep up the good work

.-{2F4OV}-.Sounds great Piet! But I would also go for much lighter rolls. I have 2,7 and those run the best for me.
What’s the brand of the carb? Not Mikuni right?14 april 2014 om 09:44 #283004Hi, thanks for the comments. :bier
The 48 secondary jet didn’t work. As 50 secondary jet was not too bad I will try a 52 jet next time.
If I remember right there are 7gr rollers in the vario and the ignition point is set 2mm before OT.
For next trial I have planed to change the roller weight and ignition point to 3mm before OT.I need to check if I have 3gr rollers available, otherwise I will try around 4gr.
Sil, the carb is a 24mm PWK. Brand I think is OKO.
11 oktober 2014 om 20:21 #264881new update with 4,5gr vario rollers 😀
coolwater temp. is also ok
12 oktober 2014 om 08:25 #272464Cooool, as for your engine and yourselfs 😉 Junior loving it !
But what about those dusty roads and no air filter ?
Is this normal for a sprocati engine or is a air filter comming soon ?Good work Ralph, love to see a good attended project
TICKLING BARN12 oktober 2014 om 08:39 #273399I like the nice dark sound it makes
12 oktober 2014 om 09:09 #273409Crullie, Junior is my test driver. he told me that this engine is pushing like a steam train, not ending giving more and more pressure.
He also told me to use an air filter, but there is not much space for an air filter in the frame. Need to make some investigations to find something what fit.
Andree, the sound goes through the bones. When Junior finished the drive his hole body was trembling and he had pressure marks inside his hands. 😀
Like Sil and Hans mentioned, next test will be with 2,5gr or 3gr rolls :lol
12 oktober 2014 om 18:36 #273733Do you have any idea of how fast it’s running yet ?
I’m really curious about that 😉Great machine btw
Je ware pubertijd duurt je leven lang
Lightlord's Dizzy/Gypsi9 november 2014 om 18:16 #282819as said, there is not much space for an airfilter, so I build one by my own using a Malossi filter housing with a custom cutted expanded metal and red Malossi filter foam.

And now the carb setup starts at zero. Lightlord, due to that I can’t say how fast it is.
So far Junior and I reduced the secondary jet from 48 to 42. But it looks that we need to go again in direction to 48 or higher. Not much different in sound with that filter 😀
