But vario is a MUST!:D17 december 2013 om 20:16 #275014That ciao looks like a beast. =)
Great work17 december 2013 om 22:12 #269339Piet30 very good project!!
ps
water temp 79°C this is very much!
I’m not never had more than 65°C
I was driving over 15++ minutes on track
in summer time! in jets Start with 140++
it because you have no air filter
but set the time when you have to transfer vario!sorry for off topic
picture of my bravo racing
the project is not yet complete This was Test Drive 2
sorry for my bad english!
18 december 2013 om 10:53 #282251oki, I will change to vario for next try. 😀
nejc93, thanks, maybe 144 main jet is a good starting point. Honestly, I do not know what jet is in the carb, just plug and play for the try run. :lol
What vario are you using on your race Bravo? Is it standard clutch or Fox clutch?
18 december 2013 om 10:55 #278084Very nice progress Ralf!!
I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...18 december 2013 om 21:53 #266303at the beginning I was driving standard vario!!
with which I had a lot of problems pulley-spring itd
I can say that the original vario is bullshit!
I’m now working Fox clutch! ps I drive 1:9 malossi gear
are the best! anything else I’ve tried it always something snapped or explode!:con18 december 2013 om 22:24 #268125
AnoniemA water temperature of 79°C isn’t harmfull.:?
Most fast AM6 engines reach temperatures of almost 90-95°C.
since this cilinder was designed for AM6 engine blocks, doesn’t seem to be a problem.Am i wrong?
18 december 2013 om 23:03 #279136in 90-95°C. start the engine losing power!
I speak for 2T I have a racing MINI GP 80cc
which never did not exceed more than 85°C
of course it is necessary to correctly positioned
a big water cooler and do not forget to correctly set the
engine + carborator!19 december 2013 om 08:30 #265361ah, ok. If the engine is loosing power higher than 90°C I’m soothed. I only don’t want to damage the cylinder with the first try.;)
Maybe my thermo sensor is not the best as I made it by myself. I used a screw, drilled a hole through it and glued a sensor in it.
During engine run it showed ERROR, when I stopped the engine it showed the temperatur.Maybe I should use a different one. What thermo sensor are you using? Is it from Stage6?

nejc93, did you also try to use transmission parts from Toyota gear box, or have you heard about that possibility? 🙂
20 december 2013 om 14:05 #268299I use Stage6 R/T thermo sensor!
regarding Toyota gear box the first time I hear!
that could be used to ciao transmission..27 december 2013 om 15:13 #273428ok, thanks.

during waiting for the main jets to adjust the carb I received the Stage6 clutch.
That is an fantastic thing, total easy to change and adjust the springs without disassembling the clutch.
Also there are additional small weights to finetune the weight of the clutch lining arms.

27 december 2013 om 15:27 #275426I tried this, but because the clutch is rotating the wrong way and this lightness, i couldnt move.. try out it
46 Pinasco, Malossi RV, Schijfrem, Fox Vario
Gele Racefrikandel27 december 2013 om 16:40 #269098hey man, how is it going in Thailand? :bier
I thought so in general, all Scooter clutches are turning worng direction. But funniewise the Fox clutch is working in both directions.
What springs were you using on the Stage6 clutch? Maybe they were too hard? I will try the softes once then.
27 december 2013 om 18:31 #276226Ralf: Which parts of the toyota gearbox do you use, picture?
Did you make the fox/vespa axle yourself?
