19 oktober 2015 om 18:29 #497465Really nice!!
It was about time somebody would make an oldtimer with variotransmission!
I like it. I think you need an oldtimer style Choke lever??
24 oktober 2015 om 16:44 #497486thanks

Jos, for sure the old type shoke lever will come. I used this carb only for testing if the engine runs and if the carb is ok.
Both is nice, now I can go into more details. 😀Also made the first drive with the Italian Ciao SC, and it is running very smooth without any vibrations and great acceleration.
Top speed of 50,9 km/h is not bad for the first tour :lol

In addition I got a series 1 old type of engine for my baby blue 19″ Ciao :swinging
Looking ugly but better than nothing.

I had to reactivate my sand blast cabine to clean that stuff 😀

Jos, maybe that is the second oldtimer with variotransmission :rules
90mm oltimer vario clutch

and the first series variator with the radii in the cutouts of the cover plate and first type brass weights.
24 oktober 2015 om 18:13 #440458Nice job!!
The sandblasting really pays off and i like the origineal oldie variator!

1 november 2015 om 20:49 #497535Today was a beautiful day for working on a Ciao without shoes. 1st of November 🙂
Nice work on both Ciao’s!
The bagagedrager is great because you can use it to move the Ciao, instead of lifting the saddle :Thumb
20 december 2015 om 12:47 #497771Thanks Bas and Jos

today tried to repair some side covers what had cracks and missing fixing domes for the cover screws.
First cutted some good ends of fixing domes from a broken side cover in the needed length

Then fixed the new dome ends to the cover by hot staples

cutted the staple ends away, and the new dome is finished. 😀

worked also good for repairing a crack in the cover near by a fixing dome.
