Is there any need for having more than 2% oil on tuned engines?
I have a Polini engine with 46 mm Polini cylinder and run alkylate fuel with full synthetic oil.

I say there is no need.
        2% or 1:50 is Enough.
Some people mix at a 1:40 ratio witch is also fine,
But if you want a better lubrication is is better to inprove you oil.

Aspen is a good fuel but also not nessesary. It,s ment for engines that run once in 2/3 mont,s.
Normal fuel goes bad in about 60 day,s.

Your setup in not an extreme setup that needs special lubrication. I see no need, but it is fun to try out castrol 747.
        Ore someting like that.

Just for the smell of it 😉:thumb

          Thanks!
I used 3% during break-in the first 500 km but did have a feeling it was unnecessary to continue with.

Main point for running Alkylate is there is less carbon build-up and soot in the engine, also more or less zero smell…
