After 10 years of absence the Scooter-Weekend celebrates its comeback to the Nürburgring in the Eifel and its 10th anniversary!
It takes place from 17th – 18th september 2011 and for everybodys entertainment there are DSSC-runs, free sprints, custumshow, wash girls, free dyno-runs, free ride on the 4,5 km long GP-track, burnout contest, stunt competition, and much more..
Not to forget: The big birthday party at saturday evening!! 😉
By the way it is the biggest automatic-scooter-meeting in Europe! Furthermore Mr. Hood is going to be there and to spread his spiritual outpourings with the precision of a short-barrelled shotgun. 😀
The weekend-ticket is about 49 € (day tickets are not available). For that you get a lot of entertainment and it’s going to be an memorable meeting with thousands of people.
I will go there and my plan is to rent a box in the paddock. This is going to cost about ~ 165 €, from which 100 € are deposit which we are going to get back! The boxes are equipped with toilet, shower, electricity, data connection and they are heated and lockable. Moreover one box offers enough space for an overnight stay of 10-15 people with mopeds.
Furthermore the connection to the GP-track is perfect and ther is a gas station and a snack bar at the paddock.
Although there are many scooterists, such a meeting should not be missed – especially at the 10th anniversary!

Als we vanuit limburg starten dan is het maar een 180 a 190km rijden, dus ook goed te gummballen evt
De weg er naartoe gaat ook nog door 1 van de grootste natuur gebieden van duitsland
Dus ik ben erg voor om met een leuk clubje die kant op te gaan
Het event en de paddock box hoort allemaal erg vet, en wat is er mooier dan met de vespa,s daar op het circuit rond te blazenI think it will be awesome! And everybody should try to come! I think you won’t get the chance again to ride on the GP-Track. And the best thing: Here are so many guys with very fast and nice Ciaos and Cittas. We will show these crap plastic scooters who is the king 😀

Ik moet even kijken of ik mee kan, lijkt mij wel zeeer vet dan rijden we dwars door het ”Schwarz wald” en dat is echt vet daar.
This isn’t just any real track! This is the legendary Nürburgring in the German Eifel in North Rhine Westfalia, place of the famous 24h race in the “green hell”.
Fortunately it isn’t this far from the dutch border.
Hope to see some dutch mates there. We are 6 guys from PMT now and it seems, that there will be many more!
This is the GP-track, we can drive on there.
Ooh well this looks rather promising. Certainly one off those events to get some time off from work. I’ll keep this topic in mind. And folluw up on any interest from other people.
(In the little movie we’ve missed a little two extra corners off the official F1-GP racetrack. But I’ll see this will be possible to be driven on the 17th and 18th.

I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...Just saw the 24h of Nordschleife on the carchannel. What is acctualy going on during this weekend? Is it also open to the scooterists?
The 24h of Nürburgring are finished for this year. The 17th & 18th of September are going to be just for this huge meeting – this is the 10th anniversary!

Ik heb dit weekend het met alex door gesproken en wij gaan sowieso er naartoe
Het is natuurlijk alleen wel veel leuker om met een leuk clubje die kant op te gaan, want hoe meer vespa,s hoemeer vreugdIk heb er tijdens de meeting meer belangstelling voor gehoord
en ondanks dat het event nog een dikke maand weg is lijkt het me niet verkeerd om voorvast al spijkers met koppen te slaan.
Want last minute kan leiden op achter het net vissen.Nou heb ik het allemaal even goed gelezen, maar z,on paddock box lijkt me niks, daar word je namelijk zaterdag om 18:00 uit gegooit en krijg je een te goed bon om naar de camping te gaan:con
Dan kunnen we wat mij betreft daar ook wel vanaf dag 1 naartoe.Want z,on box kost toch een 450 euro(10man) en 250 borg en dat is dus alleen voor vrijdag tm zaterdag.
(lees ook nergens dat de toegangs kaart er al bij inzitten).
Dus camping lijkt mij dan de beste keuze
Daar ben je voor 24 euro het hele weekend welkom, en daar zijn ook meerdere facilitaire voorzieningen.Dus voor 24 euro plus 49 euro voor de toegangs kaart, kunnen we een super vet weekend hebben
Want vooral het circuit lijkt me master om over heen te blazen met een leuk groepje vespa,s
