:: My Evo Engine wouldn’t take RPM
-
Hey, after a long break, I got my Evolotion Engine up and running again, fantastic! 😀
But it wouldn’t take so many rpm’s. Any one got any suggestions why?
And the compensation is allso very hard, making it almost impossible to start it by my self, my brother needs to push me.
Thanks 😀
what kind of ignition do you have?
What is your complete variomatic setup?
Back variomatic 100/90mm?
Which spring yellow ?
Etc..
P.s i see Tecno Reverse Exhaust ??? I hope it’s not this thing!

Doesn’t got a Vario any more, it broke down, so i use a normal clutch now, yes it is that crappy exhaust. My ignition is the CDM-01 from this webside 🙂
buy another exhaust, like the proma/techno cc, it preforms really good, and put some blue polini springs in your clutch, it should work fine then!
I would buy a need exhaust as soon as possible, and luckily, i all ready have some polini springs, including the blue ones, thanks for your help guys 🙂
Was thinking of buying the Gianelli Fire exhaust, is it worth it?
yes, its a good one, it performed pretty good on the dyno
I’ll hope you were mistaken misterd11 Because the Techno CC is different then the Technigas. Don’t buy a Techno at all! 😀
The Giannelli fire is one of the best pipes we’ve tested and definitely in the higher rpms for power. But this is not proven yet on a bigger cylinder like the 46mm Polini. Actually it did as worse on bigger cylinders as it was great on the 43mm cylinder. Also some other people who tested it on bigger bore cylinders where not all that amazed, but a final test is still to be done. Take a look here http://www.vespa-ciao.nl/forums.php?m=posts&q=26010
@ Supersi, did you tested it on a dyno? Do you have some printed results perhaps. I’m very interested how the power-band looks like.
