I see at the picture’s that you are good with metal modifying. So maybe you can put your flywheel in a ”draaibank” <–(CLICK) (don't know the english word for it) and make your flywheel lighter yourself

VespaCiaoPaul: I actually lightened a couple of flywheels a few years ago in a machine like that, but it didnt go very well… I don’t know if I did something wrong, but I don’t wanna try with my flywheel if it shouldn’t go well because I dont wanna ruin it.. It’s hard to find a new electric flywheel if I would make a mess out of mine… 😐
But if someone has a picture of a home-made lighter flywheel please show me and maybe I can make a copy 🙂

And unfortunatly, because of bad information we didn’t go to that meeting in Gothenburg 23/7. It wasn’t a very good meeting, not many people, bad weather and only 3 Ciaos. But here are som pictures from the meeting if you would like to see.

Ow wait there IS news, looking good, and i’d go for the round strenghtening bar, in my opinion bigger=better, i mean prettier.
.-{2F4OV}-.: I think it looks big ‘cause it was both a carmeeting and a mopedmeeting. 😀 The people who were there wasn’t very pleased with the meeting though… It was very strict rules and if you did something wrong (like start your moped) you had to leave the area. There were no place for driving the mopeds, only on the “strip” but the strip was only for mopeds with setups like midrace and hyperrace… So many people were dissapointed…
The rims on the pink/black ciao is really ugly, he’s trying to get another pair of rims but it’s hard to find if you dont buy brand new and that’s a bit expensive… 😐 Is aluminium rims standard on Ciaos in Holland?
The meeting wasn’t illegal so I dont know why the police were there.. I know they stood outside the area and took some people though 🙁

A better movie is coming soon! And i agree with the strenghtening bar, the round one looks much better. I will cut them both and see how they look on the frame later.

The color might be called candy red, I am not sure. However, I do know that the color is (liquid) ink based.

Ok, I was just wondering because a guy on a Swedish moped-forum just painted his Ciao in a colour that looks exacly like yours and was called candy red.
