Yeah, I love the pipe :con

I haven’t thought about that, but now that you say it, I’ll look into that 😉

Haha our ciaos seems almost the same, maybe I’ll come down to you and we can race 😀

Btw, update today. The Honda-manifold didn’t fit, it was a bit too big. But I think we’re gonna fix it anyway. Hopefully today..

And actually, I think the Evo-carb would fit if you cut off the round thing that goes in the intake….

Edjuh, what do you mean with handlebars? (I know, my english sucks :D)

About the transfer ports, i felt the ones in my old deps, and they are quite sharp as well(and this cil. has made quite some KM’s!), so i guess it isn’t too important.

If you’re planning to come to holland some time you’re most welcome.

I’m also thinking of ways to make the evo carb fit, since i still have one, the mounting is quite simpel so i hope i can find someone to fix it for me.

        Handlebars:

        🙂

Oh okay, well I think I will let them be the way they are.. Do you think it’s much difference with smoothening edges?

I haven’t got handlebars yet.. I ordered a M-lenker from mopshop but they didn’t have it in stock. Maybe i’ll order one later but on monday i’ll buy the same as I had on the pink ciao.

When do you think your ciao with the mhr-engine is ready to rule the streets of Holland? :lol

I can’t wait to start this baby 😀

Here in sweden they don’t even know what DEPS is 😐 You can’t get any tuningparts in sweden, only Athena 43mm and 13/13 carb and the lousy Badsnake exhaust.. :((

I bought my DEPS cilinder from a guy who bought it from Mopshop(??) i think.. But he hadn’t use it so it was brand new 🙂

I dont know about the edges, but some people give their cilinder a ‘finishing touch’ so that is is more durable? I thought sharp edges could cause the pistonrings to get stuck more easily, but i’m not an expert on the subject so maybe someone else knows. At least i know my old deps has done some 4000km’s? and i don’t think the edges caused any troubles.

About my ciao, i still have a lot of work to do, and i’m also busy with my other two vespa’s, so it might take a while, but i’m sure the engine will be running at the vespa-ciao.nl meeting the 5th of august.

Just have to get/fix the manifold, hopefully a lighter electronic flywheel and then it’s ready to make the ciao go 100km/h=)

Yes, I feel on the ports that they are sharp. Hm, don’t know how I’ll do about it but if your old worked fine för quite some kilometers I don’t think it will be a problem..

It would be nice to see a movie with your ciao when it’s ready 😀 100 km sounds soooo nice, i hope mine will go somewhere near 100 too =)

How much was the lighter flywheel on polini.ch?

It’s 66 euro’s, but our webmaster is able to score original flywheels which are made lighter(not as light as pinasco though) for very reasonable prices, so hopefully he can get them soon.

If you can get your hands on a light flywheel as well we’ll have almost the same setup, so we’ll hopefully both be able to reach a speed like that.

I’m looking forward to riding it as well!

Ok, i dont know how light the pinasco is, but I think I can get hold of a ligher flywheel aswell. (I don’t mean lighter than the pinasco, just ligher than original). I’m just no sure if he has a ligher electric flywheel… maybe he just has the original for breaker-points.. 😐

Otherwise I might have to come to Holland to buy one 😉

AA-t bought the pinasco flywheel i think its really light at 0.647 kg. That owns like shit!!!!!!!!

Polini.ch has the flywheels so order there you cant get more of a elec flywheel then 850 – 800 then it will get unsafe told by tonni.

Update 9/7 with some new pictures and of course a new problem which hopefully will be solved this week.

We’re gonna re-build the intake manifold again and do some modifications on the frame (the holes for the engine-bolts) so I hope the carburator will fit good after that.

it looks nice “the engine” totally cool

heve fun whith the engine :thumb

its quit a problem whit the manifold of the carburator doenst is fit at all or dont u have space for the air filter ?:?

Hmm, the manifold looks nice though, too bad the problems keep coming. The engine complete looks darn pretty, i had it laying in my room and it looks so ‘hyper’:). It wouldn’t start yesterday but i think i know what the problems are so that’s ok.

I just ordered the 19mm carbset from mopshop by the way, i didn’t feel like putting too much efford in the manifold, i just want to have it fixed quickly(although ‘quick’ sometimes doesn’t combine with mopshop).

Have you found someone to ‘lighten’ your flywheel? I will receive a 900 gram wheel this week, that’s quite a difference, not as much as the pinasco but it’s still an improvement.

Hope to hear good news from you soon:bier

wheelieking89: Thanks man 😀 It’s the carburator that is too big, it doesn’t fit in the frame. Or actually it does fit but only if i move the engine very much forward and then I cant get the engine-bolts through the engine and the holes in the frame because then it doesn’t fit… 😐

Edjuh: Wow, give me some pics of the 19mm carbset from moshop when you get it 🙂

I’m gonna try one last thing with my carb and hopefully it will work, if it doesnt I’ll buy the carbset from mopshop coz I just wanna get this beast started.

Nope, no light flywheel yet. I’ll drive with the original now and when I find a lighter flywheel I’ll buy it 😉

I will definitely make pictures if i get the carb(hopefully i’ll receive it next week)!

Good luck with your homemade stuff:).

By the way, you probably can find someone to work your flywheel, i don’t think you will find a lighter wheel just like that, you said yourself that vespa tuners are rare in sweden….
