Hi millen, nice to see yet another malossi engine owner:) I’m planning on trying it very soon. Do you have an idea which carb you’re gonna take? I’m very curious about that…..
I mailed mopshop two days ago(where the hell are my goodies!?:P ), they told me the ‘malossi delivery’ just arrived, i hope they ordered some extra malossi exhausts so you can get it on time!
Also, because you have electronic ignition, have you considered buying a lighter(pinasco) flywheel? I certainly want one, because the normal elec. wheel is soooo heavy, the ‘gas/throttle reaction’ is so slow(although this won’t be thát bad because of the large inlet and membrane), and it also slows you down slightly.

Edjuh its more then 12 hours driving.
I went to sweden last year it was about 20 hours driving, i went to Osby 🙂 in sweden. It took longer then we expected even with 140 -150km/h. But sweden is a very nice country i like the nature and i fished allot it was way cool out there.
Edjuh: I don’t really know yet which carb I’m gonna use.. I was thinking that maybe this part fits and then use the 20 carb right under..
Anyway, my local mopedstore has that part in stock (I hope) so I will go there tomorrow to see if it fits with the intake manifold from 50cc. If it fits then it shouldn’t be a problem as long as the carb isn’t too big for the “Ciao-body” (frame? I don’t know what to call it :p)
I e-mailed mopshop a week ago and asked if they had the exhaust in stock and they said they had it so I hope I get it 😀
I want to buy the lighter flywheel but I just don’t know from where? 🙁 It seems impossible to find? 😕
Hehe, 12 or 20 hours driving – it doesn’t matter.. we can sleep on a hotel or something. My girlfriends sister lives in southern Sweden so we can sleep there and go from there to the Netherlands. I don’t think that would be so far 🙂

Ow and millen, i’ve never seen that intake thing before! That looks like the solution, now i wonder if they also have the manifold 19mm which you bought @50cc.nl, then i could get those as well.
Edit: ow, it isn’t made for the vespa mhr engine though, hmmmm.
The pinasco flywheel is available @ polini.ch(swiss webshop, i don’t know if they send to sweden).

Edjuh: No it’s for Honda but it looks like it could fit right? I’ll go to the mopedstore here tomorrow and see. If it fits its certainly worth a try.
Ok but since they’re not an EU-county it’s gonna cost me a fortune to buy from them so I think I’ll stick with the heavy original flywheel at the moment.. 😐

I checked mopshop i dont have that much information for the malossi engine but you guys say a PHBG fits on it… so i was looking at stuff for aerox and check.
P.s iam looking at a new membram thing something v3 its called gives you more KW about 0.4 more.
Those obviously won’t fit, if you look at the manifold you see it’s a completely different mounting.
BUT, if millens plan with the mt8 thingy works, you can use those regular phbg carbs.None of those carburators will fit because you can’t put things into the manifold because it’s like a “wall” inside… 🙁 So either I have to take a flat carb with holes so it can fit the manifold i bought from 50cc or buy the thing I linked to mopshop earlier.
I’ll just have to hope for the Honda-intake to fit. We’ll know tomorrow. 🙂

Bad news.. I went to my local mopedstore and they didn’t have that thing in stock and they wouldn’t get it in either 🙁 So I can’t try if it works, but I ordered that thing to the Honda from Mopshop and a 20mm carb today anyway.. Just hope it works… 😕
Bah, it suckes that you have to take risks like that, i wish it was more easy to get the right set, for a reasonable price(polini.ch:con ).
