Malossi Hyper Racing Ciao

I’m really sorry to disappoint you guys, but the Simonini engine isn’t ready yet so I’ll put this project on ice for a while.. 🙁 Because I have to get this Ciao ready before 23 july, and if I’m gonna wait for the new Simonini to be available, the Ciao won’t be done 23 july 🙁

So, instead we’re gonna buy the Malossi MHR Engine and a Malossi TooBad. We already have the DEPS-cilinder. So we’re gonna order the engine and the exhaust next week. Also the paint is gonna be a little bit different… You’ll see soon 😀

But in the end of the summer, we’re gonna start the Simonini-project again, with the paint and everything on the frontpage.

Yeah, it sucks.. I really wanted the Simonini on the gothenburg-meeting.. 🙁 But i also think the malossi-engine will be pretty nice 🙂

Yes, two projects 😀 In fact, I’m making 3 projects :con

I’m going to buy the Evo-engine with Polini 75cc and my polini Sp to my ciao
My girlfriend was making the Simonini-project (paying anyway, i’m helping her with the mechanic stuff :con)
So now she’s gonna buy the Malossi-engine instead of the Simonini but in the end of the summer, when the Simonini is ready, she’s starting on the Simi-project 😀

Or maybe we do the Simonini together, i don’t know yet 😉

Haha no I don’t have much money.. We have bills for the appartment for 600 euro every month. I make about 1000 euro a month and my girlfriend make also 1000-1100 euro a month..

But we’ve saved money for quite a while now 😀

Too bad you can’t use the simo engine for your ‘gothen-ciao-project’, the malossi engine doesn’t look that interesting( the performance is very interesting though). The old simonini engine isn’t an option?

Don’t forget that you need a manifold and carb larger than the 13mm mani. you get with the engine, that is, if you want to get the most out of it!

Yeah, I know, I thought about the old simonini, but if I buy it I don’t think I will buy the new simonini in the end of the summer because I will be satisfied with the old one..

And I really really really want the new one. Also we want one Evo-engine and one Malossi-engine to see which one is the fastest and if it’s a big difference between the engines.

Anyway, if we buy the Malossi-engine next week, we’re gonna buy the new simonini in august/september, thats for sure!

I sent an e-mail to 50cc about the carburator and they said you only needed one piece, an 19mm intake manifold, which I’m gonna buy aswell. But does it mean that the intake is 19mm or that the carburator you can use shall be 19mm? I wanna know exactly which carburator that fits, so I don’t buy the wrong one :con

Well, i can tell you the differences between the evo(with 46mm polini) and the malossi engine(with 47mm deps)(you can also see @ Vespafreak.nl):

Evo:

-2-thingy(dont know the word:P) membrane, malossi has four ‘valves'(maybe thats the word).

-Malossi has a bigger inlet.

-The 47mm Deps is way faster than the 46mm polini.

-The malossi exhaust is faster than the SP( I think!).

So obviously malossi is faster.

The manifold needs a special carb, 50cc.nl should sell it, i’m looking for it as well, so let me know what they got for you.

I have tried racing, but i had problems with both of them, i’m hoping to be able to try them out this summer.

About the carb, i didn’t knew that because i thougth they looked like this(the manifold): 20mm mani.

I thought this kind of mounting is rare for carbs?
