:: Limbotour 2011 (8 Mei)
-
@bisschenmude
If you drove this tour last year, this was pretty organised 😉 Keep in mind driving with 50 mopeds or more is really hard to organise…
The main problem is, limburg has strange roads. If you drive in groningen, its mainly straight roads so you cannot get lost. I drove with 6 people to fons with my gps, also if my tomtom died i would just ask some people or find someone with a map….
Next limburg tour with this many people can be good, just some more people which are from the organisation (2 is perhaps to less with this big of a group).
Perhaps next tour:
– Roadbook with places we stop A -> B – > C printed out
– More local people with orange vests 😉
– More people with GPS/TOMTOM
– More telephone numbers exchange
On the groningen tour 8 august i will get this from work:

P.s the main thing on a tour is to be prepared YOURSELF! : have your phone charged! / stay within a group / if your slow drive at the front of the tour / know the big places
BisschenMüde. :
more countryside less urban!
You know that holland is standing in the top 10 of densely places in the world?
So we dont have a real county site or places where you not see police so now and than.
Also you can not compare limburg with groningen.
Limburg is a mase of small roads comparing to (nord) groningen that only have straight ends, this is way easer to controll.

i’m sorry for those hard words :/ i was realy pissed at that moment because we traveled there from
lübeck(its about 550 kilometers to beek says google maps) and we have had no tour the most time we’re
looking for the way =/
you know i thought we’ll arrive at about 6 pm , actually we started at burnsum(or something) at 10 pm because someone of my cars passengers broke down there and we had to leave him in that small town. so we arrived at 8 am , because i had to sleep 2 hours.
was my fault too that we was that lost in that moment, i have had to have a gps myself and i will have one next year, this year the map for netherland just don’t work so i had none.
