      Hey,

I’ve put together a Kick block and Kick krukas with a 42mm Pinasco set.

After having seen the big topic : Howto Krukas timing berekenen from ArvidW, maybe some of you can give me some answers before I disassemble the engine for trimming the krukas again.

How does the inlet of a Kick carter look like? Like a Speed engine, like Tonni’s carter or like Arvids carter, or total different?

Is the Kick krukas more like a snorkrukas or a bromkrukas or total different?

Has somebody here already trimmed a Kick krukas for use in a Kick carter and a 42mm Pinasco? If yes, how much was trimmed?

      greets,Ralf

The original kick crankshaft is a “brom” version, the original inlet is a litle bit bigger than the inlet made by Tonni.

ah, after working more and more through the krukas tuning topic I come to the following conclusion:

calculated timing for 42mm Pinasco after program is : 117,63°

          Going further this will give a opening degree of about : 121° + 10° = 131°

Assuming I like to drive with mono there should be a opening time of: 185° to 190°

This will give me a inlet closing degree of: 54° to 59°

Is that ok or did I missunderstood something?

hehe, I can read Dutch, but I can not understand everything:whistle

So, I will rework my krukas now after that but have no possibility to mill it. I will try it with a hand grinder.

A “dremel” will work just fine;)
