my Junior bought a Ciao what is allowed to drive 50km/h.
For that he is just making a driver license and, of course, a 50km/h engine.:D

8 oktober 2011 om 10:15 #464816I dont think you will reach 50km/h with this engine, mabey 40/45 max. 😀

I dont think you will reach 50km/h with this engine, mabey 40/45 max. 😀I think that when the conditions are right (down hill 30% and a strong wind in the back) that it can reach the 50km:D
Without beining funny, what a nice candy color ciao
8 oktober 2011 om 11:56 #490299yes, and the positive is, Junior’s weight is about 45 kg, so good chance for his speed goal.:D
Andree, this is an Italien Ciao Moped with original color. I have never seen that before.
8 oktober 2011 om 15:43 #490305Nice Ciao, Nice Engine!:D
I think 55 km/h is maybe possible
😛8 oktober 2011 om 15:50 #490306hahaha, in the wind shadow from you maybe 58 km/h 😀
6 november 2011 om 19:02 #490860yesterday Junior finished the engine. :duivel
How many km would you recommend to drive slow with that new cycilnder?

6 november 2011 om 23:03 #490864officially it’s 500 km. But you don’t have to drive slow all the time, sometimes you can give it some more revs and drive a bit faster but not too long.
But you probably know how to run in a cylinder properly.<3 Thunderstone
Check mijn perso!7 november 2011 om 11:46 #490870yes, I have an idea how to handle with the rev’s.
I only was not sure about the distance. (300, 400, or 500 km) as I didn’t have a new Aluminium cylinder before. Maybe it is different to cast iron cylinder. So 500km is something what I can tell to my Junior.
7 november 2011 om 13:09 #490871500km is much, my 46 Pinasco alu was 50 kmen than…. FULL POWER!:D
GOOD oil is Important!7 november 2011 om 17:15 #490873True. If you use good quality oil and take the sharp edges of the ports and the pistonrings, you don’t have to do more then 100km. 100 km is already on the safe-side.
My all new RV motor with new Pinasco was driven from Appingedam to Groningen (27 km) and then I put it on the ‘rollenbank’ to test the max power, two years ago on the meeting.
The kit is still in good shape..I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing...7 november 2011 om 18:16 #490875mmmh, so something between 50km and 500km.
I only use BelRay Si-7 full synthetic oil with 1:40 mixture. Hope this will do the job for 100km slow drive:D

Full Synth oil is good stuff most of the time, so you should be safe 😉
7 november 2011 om 18:39 #490877I must admit that eventhough it’s not neccesary, I am going to drive the DEPS more carefully (if it ever arrives.)
For that engine I’m going for at least 150 km, and against my believes I’m also going for a little richer mixture then.I came, I saw, and I forgot what I was doing... -
