My buddy that I made the head for also gave me this ciao frame that has been cut/modified by a previous owner. I did the hybrid shaft conversion and cut the frame for the pulley to fit. The plan is to stretch the frame to run the si length belt.

Why stretch it to Si belt and not to Bravo belt?

Love the water cooled head you’ve made, clever design!

We just had our 4th rally.

I rode my mini grande, it did well besides a leaking transmission. I’m hoping it was coming out the overflow.

I also picked up a set of these 3 spoke wheels we didn’t get them on the us models. IMG_1869

Is that dice for making a diagnosis? 😉

                          haha

The leak was from the input shaft bearing pushing out of the transmission. Mcproparts recommends one with the oil hole I replaced it with a standard one with loctite bearing retainer. Hopefully it stays in the housing now. I noticed I cracked my rear wheel while I had the transmission out so I laced a spoked wheel until I can find a replacement snowflake.

I kind of like that spoked wheel and the yellow It looks neat. Like so many of your individual solutions. How the moped looks as a whole (how shall I put it) never ceases to amaze me. 😉

Tanks for your input, I appreciate it and I think everyone does.

I had a buddy mention you can use a Kinetic ignition coil with the stock US flywheel and a parmakit cdi box to add a cdi to the points cases. The downside is the US flywheel is 1300g. I was wondering if I could cut down a kinetic coil on the lathe to work with the euro points flywheel which is 700g. I have spark with the setup I need to get the engine in a bike to see if it actually works. IMG_2484IMG_2500IMG_2483IMG_2503
