At first, you are having a real nice bravo,
I also have a 1984 bravo and an 1982 bravo..
Made mine kawasaki green. Are you still interested in pictures of the decompression Valve?
That citta stand fits a bravo pretty well, but can be a little to short if you’re using longer rear shocks.
My bravo sometimes stands real dangerous on uneven surface.
But with original shocks it works just fine.28 augustus 2015 om 08:25 #457592jeffreykruize :

Please post a picture or two of the decompvalve.
And if possible, some pictures of the stand on your Bravo as well

29 augustus 2015 om 20:47 #493882Will this head fit my Polini 46 cylinder, without any modification?
I don’t really like the Ciao head, and the decomp wont fit right on the Ciao head either.http://www.jmpbparts.com/cilinderkop-46mm-pinasco-citta-si.html

Or is this head from Malossi better?

29 augustus 2015 om 21:57 #493327I would go for the Pinasco one. The Malossi one will require alot of work. You can already see one of the refinement issues of the Malossi head on the picture (The “holder” for your decompression cable.).
30 augustus 2015 om 05:53 #425432Yes, and in this picture te mallossie has no decompressie cannel.
If you want a plug and play.
I would certainly go for the pinasco head. But if you want to do some tuning adjusmets, take te mallossie.
The decompression valve is smaller and this gives a better combustion chamber.
If you flatten the head, you can make it exactly 46 mm.(And increase the compresion)
There is often leakage between the decompresie channel and the combustion chamber. Now you can decide where you want to place the decompresie channel.
31 augustus 2015 om 04:57 #442288almost time for the break-in period 😀
use big jet and a old exhaust for good results 😀
keep up the good work 😉 looks greatDe budget beun tjoener: geen geld is te duur of het werkt nog niet
Link naar Mijn collectie / Projecten.31 augustus 2015 om 19:57 #497195Polini say you have to adjust the ignition timing????
How do you do that??
I have done that on my Vespa 125, but there is the igniton coils mounted on a plate the you can rotate.
Here the coils are in a pre determin place, and can’t be moved.
Edit: Do I have to make sure the points open 2,2mm before TDC? And thats it?
31 augustus 2015 om 20:10 #497196Well Polini carters do need a little bit bigger gap between the pointers as normal Piaggio carters where a gap between 0,45 and 0,5 will be OK. I almost use a gap between 0,55 and 0,6 on any Polini engine.
This setting of the pointers is not that difficult. First turn your crank, so the piston is in tdc. Now you can tighten your pointers but make sure there is a gap of 0,6mm between the points itself. We use some tool like a “voelermaat” https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voelermaat to get this gap the right size.
31 augustus 2015 om 20:16 #497197Aha…. Thanks for the explination Martino.
I think I have got it now.PS: The tool is called Feelers in English

3 september 2015 om 08:22 #495157Engine done 😀

3 september 2015 om 09:59 #495158how funny that you took my bravo to ask a pic for the side stand.
here are some pics i supposed to place like a week ago,
at first a pic taken from the front so see the angle the bravo stands in:
(take note that the rear shocks are 2cm longer than the orginal shocks, so the angle is a little less with the orginal shocks

without side cover, the stand has been broken before, so with the welding it has been placed in the same place again, there is no difference between an new and mine.

and then, an pic of the decompression valve, it was a hard pic to take because of the polini top one is messing with the sharpness of the picture…picked the best two pics
3 september 2015 om 10:34 #495154Excellent picture of the side stand 😀
The decomp is the wrong one, as I need to see pictures of the Ciao one.
These wheels are now on its way to me 😀
They are SI wheels, and the front will not fit.
But I will try to modify the front brake, and have a slight hope to make it fit.
Had to pay €100 for them. Is that too much?
The SI side cover will no be sent to me, as it’s the wrong one.

3 september 2015 om 14:40 #495150if he sends you the vario system for the rear with the wheels it looks like a good deal.
for the front wheel you are looking for a bravo brake(part).
i have one here, that you can buy it from me, if interesed, PM me. -
