Both are comming with three boxes of parts incl. the engines. I didn’t have the time to check in detail but so far I see that the cylinder heads of both engines are disassembled. Due to that, rusty in the cylinder inner side.
I think that I will not change the color of both, so they will stay like they are with sticker and tax plate. 😀
I’m curios, the white one is from 1969 I believe. I wonder if it still has the first series cylinder & head?
From the frame number I had received, and reading information from the internet. I think the white already has the larger/bigger tank fill gap, is that right?

After my list it is from 1969 and have the large tank fill in, crazy.Also checked the engine, it is not an first series engine.

But yesterday picked up this Ciao from 1972. It has nice foot steps for the person on the buddy seat.
Are these typical for 1972 or for newer models?
I don’t know exactly when these footsteps (and buddy seat) where introduced as an factory/dealer accessory. In the big picture there are about 3 versions of footsteps I think, but I have seen detail differences between some of the same type (maybe production changes over the years).
My Arcobaleno SC from 1972 has the same ones as yours, I have seen this kind of footstep with different kind of mountings of the actual footsteps (hight adjustable or fixed). My first series German accessory brochure show only the smallest type one for the Boxer. I cannot find my other first series accessory brochure :boos.

Don’t buy them all:DDruk zoekende naar een origineel C9 benzinekraantje, bedacht ik me om maar eens bij de locale brommerboer naar binnen te lopen. Uiteraard geen benzinekraantje maar wel dit:
Ik wist dat hij die gele had, want die is van een vroegere vriend van mij geweest en had deze een tijdje terug hem eerst aan mij te koop aan geboden. Maar omdat ik toen te weinig ruimte had in mijn schuurtje heb ik hem niet gekocht en daar heb ik nu best spijt van. Want ten eerste is hij in prima staat en ten tweede is het een originele Heilooer brommer, want hij is bij de vespa dealer hier in Heiloo in 1972 gekocht.

Ik meen dat ik vroeger eens zo’n spaakwiel heb gehad en heb altijd gedacht dat die kleiner was. loopt ook een ” bobbel” over het midden.
Die wieltjes heb ik eigenlijk nooit meer gezienIk gok 16 inch Coda, oldtimer ciao is normaal 17 of 19 inch
Bedankt! Nee het is gewoon van 1973. ik heb van de Kap beneden (nu links) geen setje helaas, van de andere wel. Daarom worden ze ook niet verkocht. Misschien komen ze toch Maar op de brommer. Ook als het niet 100% origineel is (misschien)
