Hello,
Which expansion exhaust would you recomend me for the following set-up and is still in production (I can buy it new)
Piaggio , model CIAO
– cylinder OLYMPIA 43
– anticipated orig. Piaggio crankshaft
– dellorto 13/13 + malossi air filter, widen carb intake
– 64 jet
– 80 mm pulley with malossi yellow reinforced springs for mono clutch
– CPI decide between LEO VINCE circuit, POLINI TOP ONE and PROMA circuit:con
Thanks in advance!
27 oktober 2015 om 12:32 #146748i personally really enjoy the boost of the Polini Top one, and the Proma Circuit.
The Leovince is in my opinion ment to be for standard engines.
Both Polini and Proma are higher RPM exhausts (in comparison to the Leovince), where the Proma is the highest revving Exhaust. If it’s the same Olympia 43 cylinder that is pictured in the “Tuning” section above, it would perform fine with a Proma since it’s a copy of a DR43 cylinder.
Although it lacks a bit of power in the lower-end of the RPM-range, it’ll compensate at higher RPM’s.
27 oktober 2015 om 12:58 #146749Where do you buy this Leovinci Circuit new?
I will go for the Leovince or Polini. These both exhausts are more in the range of rpm with the cylinder.
The Proma targets the higher rpm’s.From low to high end rpms; Leovinci Circuit, Polini Top One, Proma Circuit.
27 oktober 2015 om 17:07 #146750Hello,
I found LEO VINCE new model 4234 (CIAO version) on MOPSHOP store (Germany). It seem to be a reasonable price:)Here’s the link
I also wonder if it is neccesary to dismount the central stand for proper mounting of LEO VINCE or POLINI?
What about the noise of these three exhausts. Which is the most acceptable. I have no experience with none of them.
Thanks for answers
27 oktober 2015 om 17:12 #146752The polini is definitely the loudest of the two. The silencer of the Polini is on the smaller side.
If you could, i would mount a Leovince silencer on the polini, This will make it less loud. Also, when i mounted a leovince on my C24 ciao, the central stand hit the exhaust, but this also happened with my Proma.
27 oktober 2015 om 17:26 #146754From some sort off quiet till loud; Leovinci, Polini, Proma.
But keep in mind, there is some difference between the Leovinci silencers. Unfortunately there’s no picture with the provided link. Thanks for the link between.

What do you excatly mean with this differences about LEOVINCE silencers. I also missing the picture but according to the number of model 4234 it should be the right one for CIAO:con
I hope that this is not some bad(china) copy of LEO VINCE
Do you think it will be worth to replace GIANNELLI original power (city power) with LEO VINCE?
27 oktober 2015 om 17:35 #146756Here you can see the diverence between te proma silenser and the leovince silenser.
the leovince is way better but also to loud for in the citty.
I made a bigger one for a peacefull soud
The floor is made of real oak wood :rules
27 oktober 2015 om 17:42 #146757Not all the Leovinci silencers will be as quiet. I’ve seen different type of silencers and also some loud ones. These types have no glasswool :?, but internaly only a redirection of the soundwaves. But even without a silencer the Leovinci should be the most silent.
Yes indeed this should be a Ciao version;
4234 Leovinci Circuit Ciao
4235 Leovinci Circuit Si
4240 Leovinci Circuit Bravo-Superbravo
4241 Leovinci Circuit GrilloNever heard of China crap copies in the brand of Leovinci/Leovince, so hopefully this is the real deal. 😉
Switching to a Giannelli Original Power could be an option when you still want to have an original look.
These exhausts are not as silent compared to other Citypowers though. A Leovinci might be even more quiet.27 oktober 2015 om 19:45 #146753What about the central stand. Is it neccesary to dismount the central stand for proper mounting of LEO VINCE circuit?
My question about GIANNELLI city power was more about the benefits which I could gain with LEO VINCE circuit (acceleration, torque, top speed) according to the GIANNELLI city power?
Regards
27 oktober 2015 om 21:33 #146758If your engine is mounted as far to the front as possible, a leovinci circuit will not hit your stand. If this is not the case , it will hit it.

28 oktober 2015 om 17:12 #146760Well, I went from a sito+ (comparable to the gianelli) to a Leo circuit. The start is similar, but then I could detect a boost in the leovince which the sito did not have. Also, the circuit’s topspeed is about 5km’s higher (I went from 38kmh to 43kmh)
