Thanks for the help guy’s, i’ve a puch maxi to sell and i’ll spend the cash on my ciao.
I can’t seem to get the jetting right on my ciao, it over heats and loses power, maybe it,s the sh*t exhaust,
or the timing??????

Exhaust is shit, but should not be the problem.

Did you mount your cooling cap on de side of your carters?

Yes, every thing is as it should be, maybe i have the wrong grade of plug? i’m running a NGK B7HS, the information
that came with the Malossi kit was in Itaian, I only speak English, I wish we had learn’t Dutch at school!!!!.

That’s a proper sparkplug for your engine.

How is your mixture gas/oil? Do you use a decent 2S oil? Minimal percentage of 2?

You will probably need a 66 jet, maybe a little higher.

Maybe the engine has an air leak or something, or your ignition timing is bad.

I have a 95 jet in at the moment, i’ll try and sort it out at the weekend when i have more time.
Think the problems electrical, somethings braking down when the engines hot.
My ciao has pedles and i had to do some mods to get the tecno pipe on, would a polini top one
fit a pedle ciao without to much troble?

95? Man that is pure overkill. People with 19mm carbs on reedvalve engines don’t even use that kind of size.

I’ll check for an air leak, sounds like i’m sucking some air in some where, thanks for the help.
Maybe my crank case is f*cked, all the gaskets where new when i built the engine.
