@ speedbuxy: wasnt it only the clutch with the 3 steps which explode?
I have one clutch on which i bet it will never break. but you never know.
This one also turned more than 14k on a power bank. so im really relaxed with it.
i had one of this C40 bells but it was one of the first ones an di didnt liked it very much.
maybe its time now for a new one.
but im not serious, maybe i go also for a scooter clutch.

        Sick bro

And it’s true what Speedbuxy is saying. The original clutch – please don’t use it hehe.

That side plate mounting looks very clean :thumb

But most important, the gas response sounds awesome, It’s just as you said in the video ‘sehr geil!’.
A little work to do with the transmission and I’m curious how it runs when actually driving. It has some great potential 🙂

Other already mentioned it, but it can’t be said enough times, change the clutch, no matter how confident you’re with this one, those cast iron clutches can’t be trusted on powerfull setups.

@ speedbuxy: wasnt it only the clutch with the 3 steps which explode?

I dont know cause the ones I saw exploding where all blown into a thousand pieces.
I saw Waarom? blowing one up when doining a burnout and VespaAvanti housing broke when he went flatout.
But they were lucky to get no injuries.
Aat or Ac racing had a piece of clutch housing stuck in his leg bone 😐

Cast iron can not take the forces of a tuned vespa, So with your engine it will break for sure sooner or later. And if you get a piece of clutch housing in your neck or face it can end up bad.
Cause when it break those piece will come at you like a bullit from a rifle.
So keep that in mind and please chance it for a c40 housing.

@Speedbuxy: im to 100% on your side. i already had one C40 but i didnt like it because the small stripes from the center to the outer diameter were to thin. but now there are alot clutches available which i would like to buy, but i dont see that it has to be there in a few days, there are alot of other problems i have.

i calculated a bit and i have only 6 weekends to the VCT until everything has done! So time is ticking.

i arraged with my girlfriend that the next 5 Saturdays and sunddays are mine to 90% and all the time after work in the week.
Sounds like alot of time but it isnt….

                My list sounds like that:

                – Fit Yasuni C16 exhaust
                – chain adjuster for Kickstart
                – 2 belt adjuster in the middle for the Vario belt because its wobbling in the stand to heavy
                – ignition has to be deeper in the carter and i need an adapter for the clutch because the alignment from vario to clutch has to be straight.
                – fit the waterpump under the engine so thats good working, adjustable, and dont see it on the first view
                – Close the room from the carburetor to make an airfilter on the TOP and put noise isolation wool in it
                – the hole wiring has to be done AC for light and DC for Batterie
                – set the carberetore right
                – clutch spring from jellow to red
                – COMPLETE new Engine Frame with new measurings

                – sandblast the frame and all parts
                – Paint it
                – rebuild it
                – make some sidebags out of stainless steel for the VCT Tour

the more i think the more problems i see coming to me haha

here the first start of the Polini Sport.

so the Exhaust fits, one point less on the list.

I liked the cc more to be honest and I think it would also match well with your cylinder.

Nice job on the exhaust, .5 sheet metal is always tricky.

Indeed your list is quit extensive, with projects like this you start of thinking ‘oh well, I’ll fix this in …. weeks/months’ but along the line it turns out to be a much bigger task than you first imagined.

But you definitely don’t cut corners like a lot of people would do, great job and keep up the good work :thumb

Polini sport is a new cilinder? Or something else?

@speedbuxy: true, i liked it also more but the power will be better with this Yasuni.
It was the plan to use it so i do it, if it is not working as i thought i will change it back or to another exhaust.
but it will be no 22mm Exhaust, it has to be minimum 27mm

                        @AA-T

Thx mate, and you were right, Polini Sport is the Zylinder.

                          I dont share this opinium.
Cause a Yasuni c16 is made for high reving cylinders like Mhr team and Replica cylinders.
So your Polini sport will not match that very well.

The Proma cc on the other hand is a exhaust I saw alot when I did sprint races.
Most Puch racers back then with tuned 74cc gilardoni were driving with a Proma cc and they did well.
So im almost sure that the CC will do better than the c16, on your setup.
Polini sport would more like a Yasuni R exhaust.

maybe you are right, but it is like i wrote before, it was the plan so i did it.
you might be right with the Yasuni R / Z, i have them also laying in the Garage so we will see later.
there are so many points which are more important than the exhaust 😀

today i made the Kick “Kettenspanner” and it works great.
And Erwin come visit me and Björn, we had some fun and tested the new setup from today 🙂
succses! i tried many other exhausts and nothing works that good as the C16, but i have some more laying here which i have to weld till they fit.

When you get into your boost it sounds pretty powerful  lower revs not so much, but that’s probably fixed when you adjust your variatior and maybe the carburator if needed.
With the speed there’s absolutely nothing wrong! Any idea how farf it’s running?

when its finished it should run 100 or more without a problem. this is my plan so far.

today i weldet a bit on the stage 6 pro replica i found on the junkjard for 1€ 😀
And wow what a difference, this one goes much better in lower rpm, the yasuni was also great but for a bit higher rpm.
after that i mounted the cooler, and i think it looks pretty cool, but i still have to change alot.

looks great or doesnt it? whoop whoop
